John Workman and Tim Williams riding on behalf of Footprints taking on some of the highest peaks of the Tour de France. Arrived late on Monday the 1st of June in Morzine a popular ski resort. Temperatures spring to 36 degrees Celsius, turned in the evening to a massive thunderstorm and got drenched on our way to the hotel.
Day 1 of the cycle ride in the Alps. A bit cooler start but temperatures still in the mid 30s (C). Starting in Marzine they cycled up to the famous Col de Joux Plane (1691 m). Onwards through Samoës and then up to the Hors-Categoire Col de la Colombière (1613 m). Roughly 80km total and 2321
