South Africa 2019 Recap

2019 Recap of The Footprints Foundation in South Africa

We have just completed a very successful six weeks in South Africa, which included the building of two medical centres, repainting the Khaya Centre, the creation of two creche rooms at a Meals on Wheels service, providing the first indoor water facility on a site, the first hot water facility at a squatter camp and the distribution of 1000s of bras, sanitary items, clothes, sports gear etc.

If you were thinking of joining us next year, please let us know and we can send you on the details. We’ve opened the applications early this year due to the rise in interest and are already well on the way for planning what will hopefully be our biggest year yet.

Meriteng Camp Medical Centre

A fantastic week by the the team from Liberty part of the ForViva team. They transformed 2 green metal containers welded together into the most incredible medical centre. Everybody should be so proud for this to reduce the health risks in the Meriteng Camp. Thank you Colette for the vision and compassion. Onwards to week 2 with the eye test program!

Community Church in Orange Farm

A magnificent TEAM effort! - It took 80 volunteers and over 5 weeks to build this church, we are so pleased to finally be able to open the church for the local community. A big thank you to everyone involved!
