On Saturday I completed my walk of Northern Ireland starting at The Strand in Portstewart Armagh and ending near Bangor . In fairness I did miss out some of the less glamorous parts as I neared Belfast. Saturday was very special as I was part of the Mears NI fund raising walk with 15 of my colleague – well done to Joan and all the ladies and an excellent BBQ thereafter.
For those who have not seen the North coast of NI and not visited the Giants Causeway you are wasting your hard earned pennies searching for fantastic scenery elsewhere. I have travelled most of the world and I credit that coastline with the finest views I have witnessed from rockfaces to white sandy beaches from rope bridges to steam trains and of course the occasional Guinness and a visit to the Bushmills distillery.
Thanks for those who have contributed so far but if you can spare a few pounds for our charities no matter how small any amount gratefully accepted.
